Quincy Acy did not play on Sunday and has been ruled out of Tuesday’s game after suffering an apparent left groin strain on Friday against the Magic. He played well in Friday’s matchup, but he must have suffered the injury sometime in the second half. He is day-to-day moving forward but the early rule-outs have us wondering if this is a bit more serious than the Nets are letting on. Like hamstring injuries, groin issues have a tendency to linger and often pop back up even when a player thinks they are healthy. The Nets should play it safe and keep Acy out the full three week Optimal Recovery Time.
