Back to Team Injury Analysis

South Korea

TEAM ANALYSIS: South Korea is one of the Highest Risk teams entering the World. Two players didn’t make the squad due to injuries- Kim Jinsu (MCL injury) and Kwon Chang-hun (Achilles rupture). On top of that Ki Sung-Yeung has a string of lower body injuries that lead to an Elevated Injury Risk, and Koo Ja-cheol is High Risk due to a recent LCL sprain. Realistically they shouldn’t have even made the World Cup, and with this many injuries it’s hard to see them advancing. They also haven’t exactly looked like a World Cup caliber team during their recent friendlies.
